Rich’s featured book is entitled:

Sitting with God: A Journey to Your True Self Through Centering Prayer

Description: Premise

In 2013 I began to dabble in silent prayer. I had heard that silence can              transform you and wanted to experience this transformation too. Silence and silent prayer are counter-cultural. They are very challenging to cultivate because everything in our culture seems to point in another direction. Yet, surprisingly, in silence I have found profound transformation. And that is the motivation for writing this book. I want to share what I have discovered.

The point of this book is to share my centering prayer journey with the reader. My hope is that my journey will help readers with their journeys. Centering prayer is not a sprint.  It is a series of marathons.  Centering prayer practiced daily, weekly, monthly, yearly will transform people, as it has me.  Centering prayer does not replace other forms of prayer.  It complements and deepens them.

Centering prayer has changed my life and mind. It has been too life-giving to keep to myself. I have to share it.
